problems of this world long behind. i do not
make it in time. this is the dream i
frequently do design. reticent and cold i
linger in the glow. wax figures in the rain,
piss alleys of the soul. don’t call on me
expecting. passing out ropes for the actors. i
don’t give a f**k about the past, just put me
in a casket; nothing comes after. i thought
we had to go much faster. a guest in the
present, a ghost of thirty years of disaster.
the truth is the latter. your friends are a
mirror. a light won’t shine any clearer now
that you know. no. i know my function’s
minimal. slower now, miserable. i’m piss in
the alley, the rain on the window, the drive
past The Dive and the dead in the old home.
don’t call on me expecting shit.
